If your comments or replies don’t show up on TikTok — or if they seem to disappear — it’s usually caused by one of TikTok’s privacy or comment-filtering settings.
Here’s how to fix it 👇
Check if “Creator Care Mode” is ON
TikTok can automatically hide comments it considers inappropriate or “sensitive”.
To check:
Profile → Menu (☰) → Settings and privacy → Privacy → Comments → Creator Care Mode
Turn Creator Care Mode OFF if you want your comments to appear normally.
💡 This feature is helpful but can be too aggressive and hide perfectly normal comments.
Review other TikTok comment settings
Still in Privacy → Comments, check these options:
Allow comments
Make sure this is set to Everyone.
If it’s set to “Friends” or “No one”, many comments simply won’t appear.Comment filters
TikTok may hide comments based on your active filters:
Filter all comments → If this is ON, all comments remain hidden until you manually approve them.
Keyword filters → If you added blocked words, any comment containing them will automatically be hidden.
Spam or offensive comment filters → TikTok’s automated moderation may block comments without notifying you.
To see what’s being hidden, open Review filtered comments and approve any comments you want to display.
